In July 2024, Pony.ai launched Tuoling, its autonomous truck platooning solution. The 1+N model combines a lead Robotruck with multiple fully driverless followers, supporting both short-haul and long-haul freight. Platooning trials and freight operations are underway across major regions in China, with Pony.ai securing the country’s first permit for interprovincial autonomous truck platooning freight.
