The 7th-Generation Robotaxi

In April 2025, Pony.ai unveiled its Gen-7 autonomous driving system, featuring 100% automotive-grade components, a 70% lower autonomous driving kit cost, and a platform design adaptable across vehicle models. All three Gen-7 Robotaxi models are now in daily service.

Pony.ai continues to reduce mass-production costs. Its 2027-model fully driverless Robotaxi is expected to cost under RMB 230,000 (approximately US$32,000), further accelerating autonomous driving at scale.
